Gene Rhode Fuensalida Pantig, RPh, is a Resident Molecular Biologist and Pharmacist at SHL Medical and is part of the organisation’s communications team. Prior to joining SHL, he worked for three years as a researcher in the Institute of Molecular Biology at Academia Sinica – Taiwan’s national academy. He is trained in classic molecular biology techniques, having worked with Dr Sue Lin-Chao – whose mentor is Dr Stanley Norman Cohen, developer of genetic engineering methods still used today in the field of biologics.
