John A Merhige is Co-CEO and co-founder of Credence MedSystems, with a focus on leading the company’s commercial activities and external collaborations. Previously, Mr Merhige was Vice-President, Market Development at Sanofi. He came to Sanofi upon its acquisition of Pluromed, which Mr Merhige joined in its early stages and where he was a member of the executive management team leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts.
Prior to Pluromed, Mr Merhige founded Prelude Devices to target early-stage medical device technologies for development and commercialization. He graduated from Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH, US) earning a BA, a BE in Mechanical Engineering, and a Masters in Engineering Management from Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering and Tuck School of Business.
