About

Matthias Birkhoff is Vice-President Business Development at Aptar Pharma. In this role, he is responsible for Aptar Pharma’s Eye Care programme and co-ordinates research and development activities, microbiological assessment and commercial strategies. Before joining Aptar Pharma in 1998, Mr Birkhoff began his career in pharmaceutical sales at a major multinational pharma company. Prior to his roles in business development and marketing at Aptar Pharma, he was responsible for sales in the Asia Pacific region. He studied medicine at the University of Dusseldorf (Germany) and holds a nursing degree.
