Emily Chang, Consultant Biomechanical Engineer at CDP, has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering mechanics from Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA, US). Prior to CDP, Ms Chang researched novel exoskeletons for her master’s thesis and developed fabrics for extreme outerwear with W.L. Gore & Associates.

For the past four years, Ms Chang has contributed to and led projects across sectors with a focus in healthcare. Ms Chang combines her biomechanical perspective with first principles and tools such as SolidWorks and MATLAB to drive design choices and analysis.
