KALEO
Kaléo is a pharmaceutical company dedicated to building innovative solutions that can help empower patients with certain life-threatening medical conditions. Kaléo products combine established drugs with innovative delivery platforms, including aerio, its autoinjector platform for emergency administration. It has products in its pipeline for the treatment of allergic reactions and opioid overdose, amongst other indications.
The company believes patients and caregivers are the experts on how medical conditions impact their lives, and so it includes them as integral part of its development process, and puts their needs at the forefront.
Kaléo is privately held. It was originally named Intelliject, and was founded by twin brothers Eric and Evan Edwards, who have both suffered with serious allergies to peanuts and various other items.
